Judy Cavallo, M.S., CCC/SLP

Judy Cavallo founded New York Speech Solutions in 2004. She is a New York State licensed speech-language pathologist who holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She has more than 20 years of experience evaluating and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders in a variety of settings. Judy and her team of licensed and certified speech-language pathologists are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of their clients.
Judy has been featured in Newsday and Long Island Business News. She has received several ACE Awards from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for completing hundreds of hours of continuing education. She is trained in the PROMPT® technique and Lessac-Madson Resonant Voice Therapy®. She is certified in: VitalStim® Swallowing Therapy (NMES), MDTP (McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program), Interactive Metronome®(IM) and LSVT Loud®(Lee Silverman Voice Treatment).
Judy is a member of the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology (AAPPSPA). She has been a guest speaker at local support groups, including the Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center (ADRC), American Parkinson Disease Association Support Group, North Shore Stroke Club, Winthrop University Hospital Stroke Support Group, South Nassau Hospital Parkinson and Stroke Support Groups and Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer (SPOHNC). She has also been a guest speaker at various assisted living facilities and senior centers in the community.
Judy brought her clinical experience into the corporate world, working extensively with professionals to deliver critical techniques that impact their communication skills and ultimately, their success in business. She is a certified Compton P-ESL (Pronouncing English as a Second Language) instructor and LDS Preferred Trainer.
